Offshore -Power BI Developer- Mid-Level

<p><strong>Location:</strong> Offshore (Remote)<br><strong>Experience:</strong> 2-4 years<br><strong>Engagement Type:</strong> Full-Time </p><h3><strong>About the Role:</strong></h3><p>Smartbridge is looking for a <strong>Power BI Developer</strong> to develop interactive dashboards and reports that enable business intelligence and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have <strong>2-4 years of experience</strong> working with <strong>Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL</strong>.</p><h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Design and develop <strong>interactive Power BI dashboards and reports</strong>.</li><li>Create <strong>DAX measures</strong> and <strong>Power Query transformations</strong> for optimized data modeling.</li><li>Perform <strong>ETL operations</strong> using <strong>SQL, Power Query, and data connectors</strong>.</li><li>Implement <strong>row-level security (RLS)</strong> and other data security measures.</li><li>Collaborate with business users to <strong>define KPIs and reporting requirements</strong>.</li></ul><h3><strong>Technical Skills Required:</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Power BI Desktop & Service</strong> (Dashboard & Report development).</li><li><strong>DAX & Power Query (M Language)</strong>.</li><li><strong>SQL Server, Azure Synapse, or other relational databases</strong> for ETL.</li><li><strong>Data modeling (star schema, performance optimization in Power BI)</strong>.</li><li>Experience with <strong>Power Automate integration</strong> (preferred).</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>Python or R for advanced analytics</strong> is a plus.</li></ul><h3><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Bachelor’s degree</strong> in Computer Science or related field.</li><li><strong>Microsoft Power BI certification</strong> preferred.</li><li>Experience in <strong>Oil & Gas, Healthcare, or Food & Beverage</strong> is a plus.</li><li><strong>100% remote role</strong> – must be available for the <strong>second shift</strong> to overlap with the US team until <strong>Noon CST</strong>.</li><li><strong>6-month probation period</strong> before full-time confirmation. If certification is not already held, it must be completed during probation.</li></ul><h3><strong>Recruitment Process & Technical Testing:</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>45-60 minute TestGorilla assessment</strong>, including:<ul><li><strong>Intro Video Section</strong> – Candidate introduction & motivation.</li><li><strong>Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills</strong> – Scenario-based questions.</li><li><strong>Technical Test</strong> – Covering <strong>SQL, Power BI-related questions, and possible coding</strong>.</li></ul></li></ul><p></p>
