Role Overview: Due Diligence Analyst
Initio Sphere is seeking experienced finance and transaction professionals to join our platform as Certified Due Diligence Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification and verification process.
Once approved, Due Diligence Analysts:
• Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
• Gain access to live deal flow requiring diligence support
• Work directly with investors, fund managers, and operators on active transactions
• Build a verified transaction history and Analyst Rating Score

Senior Due Diligence Analyst · Lead Due Diligence Analyst · Due Diligence Analyst / Associate
Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges
Senior Due Diligence Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory, consulting, or senior finance professionals with 5+ years of diligence or deal execution experience
Lead Due Diligence Analyst
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance or transaction professionals with 3–5 years of diligence, deal support, or analytical experience
Due Diligence Analyst / Associate
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical skills and exposure to diligence or transaction support work
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Due Diligence Analysts are engaged only in categories for which they have received approval. Typical work includes:
Due Diligence & Transaction Support
• Quality of Earnings (QoE) and financial diligence support
• Commercial, operational, and market diligence
• Business risk and red-flag analysis
• Customer, revenue, and cost structure reviews
• Management interview support and diligence Q&A tracking
• Investment memo and IC materials support
• Deal risk summaries and diligence reporting
Analysts may only perform work in approved diligence categories.
Approvals are earned through assessment and demonstrated performance—not tenure.
How Analysts Start Earning
• Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved Initio Sphere training
• Receive category-specific approvals (Due Diligence, Financial Analysis, Transaction Support)
• Get verified on the platform
• Begin earning immediately through hourly diligence projects and live deal engagements
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.
Certification & Eligibility
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
• Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
• Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
• Platform visibility
• Approved diligence categories
• Recommended hourly rates
Scores are based on assessment results, credentials, performance quality, and client feedback.
Compensation & Deal Terms
• Analysts operate as independent contractors, not employees
• Hourly rates vary by Rating Score and approval level
• Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
• Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
• Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
• Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

• Provide investment advice
• Solicit securities
• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and transaction support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
