Role Overview Initio Sphere is onboarding Investment Research Scouts to identify, evaluate, and introduce qualified investment opportunities to our investor and fund manager network. This is an independent contractor role. Scouts operate through a verification and approval process rather than traditional employment. Once approved, Investment Research Scouts: • Source and submit proprietary or off-market investment opportunities • Conduct early-stage research and provide high-level market and investment insights • Work directly with capital allocators and sponsors on live opportunities • Earn transaction-based compensation for deals that close • Build a verified deal track record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem Ideal candidates are professionals already close to deal flow or with access to unique market intelligence, including operators, brokers, intermediaries, advisors, and research-focused professionals. What You’ll Do (Approval-Based) Approved Investment Research Scouts may: • Identify proprietary or semi-proprietary investment opportunities • Introduce deals to Initio Sphere’s investor and sponsor network • Provide early-stage research and deal context: market, asset, structure, economics, and investment thesis • Coordinate initial introductions between deal principals and capital partners • Support analysts with early diligence handoff (modeling and detailed financial analysis handled by analysts) Scouts are not responsible for underwriting, modeling, or capital raising. Eligible Deal Types Based on approval, Scouts may submit opportunities across: • Commercial real estate (multifamily, industrial, retail, mixed-use) • Private equity and growth equity transactions • Operating businesses and special situations • Structured or opportunistic investments Deal categories are approved based on experience, research capability, and sourcing credibility. Compensation & Economics • Success-based compensation only • Typical earnings: $1,000–$10,000+ per closed deal • Paid upon successful transaction close and fee collection • Exact economics vary by deal size, structure, and Scout role • No caps on earnings for consistently high-quality research and sourced deals How Scouts Get Activated • Submit an Investment Research Scout application and background information • Complete verification and category approval • Get activated on the Initio Sphere platform • Begin submitting qualified deals to the network No cold outreach to funds or blind pitching. Approved deals are introduced via curated, platform-driven channels. Compliance Notice Investment Research Scouts do not: • Provide investment advice • Solicit securities • Market investments to the general public • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity All activity is limited to deal sourcing, research, and relationship facilitation and must comply with applicable securities laws.
