<strong>Teknowledge Ltd Part-Time IT Support (Remote Support, Microsoft 365)<br><br></strong>We're looking for a reliable and technically capable<strong>IT Support Contractor</strong>to assist with remote helpdesk tasks, Microsoft 365 administration, and endpoint monitoring. You'll act as a backup to our lead technician, supporting day-to-day IT operations and occasionallyoccasionally providing additional coverage during leave periods.<br><br>This is a<strong>remote, part-time contractor role,</strong>ideal for someone dependable, solutions-focused, and looking for consistent, flexible work.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Provide remote desktop support (Windows 11): drivers, Teams, camera/audio troubleshooting</li><li>Manage Microsoft 365 tasks: user creation, MFA resets, mailbox config</li><li>Update SharePoint and OneDrive permissions for restricted folders and sites</li><li>Monitor and deploy patching throughEndpoint Central(ManageEngine)</li><li>Assist with product updates and monitoring in ESET Endpoint Protection</li><li>Log and resolve tickets usingFreshservice(ITSM platform)</li><li>Maintain asset inventories, prepare and configure equipment</li><li>Support laptop build testing and audits (e.g. Cyber Essentials Plus)<br><br></li></ul><strong>Ideal Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 admin centre</li><li>Confident troubleshooting Windows 11 laptops and desktops</li><li>Familiarity with Fresheservice or similar helpdesk systems</li><li>Understanding of endpoint protection platforms (e.g. ESET, Sophos)</li><li>Bonus: experience with macOS, mobile device management (MDM), or Google Workspace</li><li>Responsive, reliable, and open to learning</li><li>Must be eligible for NPPV Level 3 security vetting<br><br></li></ul><strong>Contract Details<br><br><ul><li>Self-employed contractor (ongoing role)</li><li>12 hours/week (minimum 3 working days)</li><li>Availability to work up to 25 hours/week is expected during holiday cover for the lead technician.</li><li>£20/hour during a 3-month probation period, rising up to £23/hour thereafter</li><li>Remote-first (slight preference for candidated near Watford or Manchester)</li><li>Company laptop provided<br><br><br><br></li></ul></strong>LNKD1_UKTJ
