Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a strategic sourcing expert, you will be responsible for making intelligent sourcing decisions to maximize the value of our $1B+ annual professional services spend and mitigate risks through smart contract negotiations. This is a remote work opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Associate with business stakeholders across the organization to make informed sourcing decisions and select service providers that meet our needs
• Run RFPs, negotiate organization and section-level deals, manage vendor relationships, and recommend best-in-class providers and innovations
• Facilitate process improvements and bring stakeholders across segments together for collaboration and leveraging opportunities
• Develop subject-matter expertise in the professional services category through research, networking, leading key initiatives, and building relationships with leaders in various disciplines
• Participate and lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders
• Evaluate providers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria
• Develop and lead RFI/RFP processes for professional services according to arenaflex policies and procedures
• Analyze bids based on overall cost/delivery to identify opportunities to obtain the best value
• Prepare and execute clear, based negotiation strategies using Strategic Sourcing methodology
• Prepare and execute contracts as well as perform post-award administration
• Understand and assist with the development and execution of performance management programs with providers that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost
• Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices
• Communicate and document to management the status of any significant outside relationships that could impact planning and decision-making
• Analyze marketing business trends and situations that affect internal stakeholders and external providers and/or pricing
• Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of current industry best practices
• Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience with a minimum of 2 years of services category sourcing
• Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels
• Strong strategic agility
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Internal client focus
• Ability/preference to work in various environments
• Ability to handle ambiguity
• Knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement processes, basic legal terms & conditions, and entertainment industry trends and situations
• Proven proficiency with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements
• Established experience working with the legal department on subjects regarding boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services
• Professional Services Sourcing background is a plus
• Consulting/Advisory background is a plus

Education

A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field is required.
