About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Digital Communication Representative (LiveChat Agent) to join our marketing team. As a LiveChat Agent, you will play a pivotal role in connecting with our website visitors through live chat, helping to validate and prequalify leads, and contributing to the growth of our business. This is a full-time, remote position, with a preference for candidates located near our branch offices in Calgary, Alberta, or Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in real-time live chat with customers visiting our websites, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Enter marketing qualified leads into our Salesforce.com platform, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Transition qualified leads to Sales Managers as Salesforce.com Opportunities, facilitating seamless handovers and maximizing sales potential.
  • Become an expert in our live chat platform, developing a deep understanding of its features and capabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date on our products and services, including features, promotions, and FAQs, to provide informed and effective support to customers.
  • Create canned responses and enhance our tagging system in the live chat platform, streamlining our communication processes and improving customer engagement.
  • Develop and maintain training and best practices documentation, ensuring that our team is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with our sales team and key marketing team members to share insights, ideas, and best practices, driving continuous improvement in our customer journey.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response time, customer satisfaction, volume, and schedule, using data to inform decisions and optimize our live chat strategy.
  • Perform other assigned tasks, contributing to the success of our marketing team and the growth of our business.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in the commercial modular construction industry is preferred, although not essential.
  • Previous experience in live chat, B2B telemarketing, or sales is highly desirable, with a proven track record of success in customer-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com is preferred, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to our platform.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Keen ability to multitask and prioritize, with a strong focus on organization, attention to detail, and customer service.
  • Empathy and patience in dealing with various customer inquiries, with a customer-centric approach and a commitment to resolving issues efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and self-starting, with a strong work ethic and integrity, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Tactful and inquisitive, with a curious mindset and a desire to learn and improve continuously.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with a minimum accurate typing speed of 50 wpm.

  • Travel requirements will be limited, but may be up to 10%, with occasional visits to our branch offices or other locations as needed.
