Our Customer Service team is dedicated to resolving issues quickly and thoroughly, and we use data to measure, optimize, and personalize our investments to enable a delightful, efficient experience. **Job Summary** As a Full Stack Data Engineer on our Customer Service team, you'll collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and CS business owners to build reliable, scalable data pipelines, transform raw data into core business metrics, and work with custom visualization tools that surface CS insights. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, strong technical judgment, and the ability to span across the data stack, from pipeline development to business metrics and tools. **Key Responsibilities** * Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and CS business owners to design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines * Transform raw data into core business metrics using advanced SQL skills and data modeling techniques * Work with custom visualization tools to surface CS insights and inform business decisions * Develop and maintain data quality standards and advocate for data quality across the organization * Analyze business problems and prioritize autonomously to drive data-driven decision-making * Communicate effectively with analysts, engineers, and business leaders to ensure seamless collaboration and data-driven insights **Essential Qualifications** * At least 4 years of experience engineering data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Presto, Spark, Flink) on medium to large-scale data sets (10s of millions of records) * Strong data modeling skills, with the ability to design structures that are adaptable to changes in the source data or business processes * Strong proficiency in Python or Scala, with a passion for writing clean, supportable code * Advanced SQL skills, with a focus on data quality and advocacy * Analytical aptitude, with the ability to think through business problems and prioritize autonomously * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with analysts, engineers, and business leaders **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or GCP * Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI * Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git * Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles * Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics **arenaflex Culture** arenaflex's culture is an integral part of what makes us successful, and we approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully. You'll also have the opportunity to choose how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options.
