You'll be surrounded by the best in the world, providing market-leading technology and insights to modernize and simplify the customer experience. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Engineer (SQL Server & Data Platform Engineer) at arenaflex, you'll design, optimize, and support modern database solutions. This role emphasizes high availability, performance tuning, and leading cloud migrations to Azure. * Design and optimize SQL Server platforms, focusing on performance, high availability, and failover clustering. * Lead migrations of on-premises databases to Azure and other cloud platforms. * Architect disaster recovery solutions using FCI, Always On availability groups, and Azure services. * Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for enterprise-level systems. **Essential Qualifications** * 4 to 8 years of experience with SQL Server (2012+), Azure SQL, and data warehousing. * Expertise in high availability, clustering, and cloud-based database solutions. * Experience with Azure services like Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, and IaaS. * Strong skills in database performance tuning and query optimization. * Proven ability to work independently with strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Comfort in presenting complex information to clients and influencing decisions effectively. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data governance. * Knowledge of cloud-based security and compliance. * Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. * Strong understanding of data analytics and business intelligence. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong customer service skills. * Proficiency in SQL Server, Azure SQL, and data warehousing. * Experience with cloud-based database solutions and Azure services. * Strong understanding of database performance tuning and query optimization. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
