As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with customers to resolve their travel-related queries and concerns. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Answering incoming calls from customers and providing exceptional service via telephone * Reviewing customer history as necessary to ensure accurate and personalized support * Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions * Helping customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues * Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner * Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues * Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to maintain accurate records and improve customer service **Essential Qualifications** To be successful as a Customer Service Representative, you'll need: * Prior customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry or a related field * Strong geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate multiple applications and systems * Excellent customer service skills, including strong attention to detail, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities * Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment * Strong typing skills and proficiency in using the internet and multiple applications * Self-directed and able to organize, prioritize, anticipate situations, act, and see issues through to completion **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box * Demonstrated empathy and ability to work effectively with customers who may be experiencing travel-related issues * Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision * Strong typing skills and proficiency in using multiple applications and systems **Equipment and Technical Requirements** To perform your duties as a Customer Service Representative, you'll need: * A computer and equipment meeting the following specifications: + Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite) + Operating System: Windows 10 + Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above + Memory: 8GB of RAM + Hard Drive: 256GB + Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome + Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels + Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) + Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software + Headset: USB noise-canceling headset **Work Environment and Culture** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll enjoy a flexible and dynamic work environment that's designed to support your success.
