Integration QA Engineer
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for system and API integrations
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, developers, and integration engineers to understand business logic, data flows, and edge cases
• Define and evolve integration QA standards with emphasis on data quality, resilience, and real-time processing requirements
• Execute end-to-end testing of data pipelines and APIs spanning Foxipedia Reltio, Snowflake, MuleSoft, Program Domain and other connected systems
• Validate data mapping, transformation logic, and synchronization across internal and third-party platforms
• Test failover behavior, timeout handling, and retry logic to ensure system reliability
• Build and maintain API test suites using Postman, TestRail, REST Assured, or similar tools
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to enable automated integration and regression testing
• Use logs and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, DataDog) to track data movement and debug failures
• Log, triage, and track integration defects through resolution and work with engineering teams to isolate root causes and verify fixes
• Provide QA sign-off for integration releases and hotfixes, ensuring adherence to SLAs and deployment checklists
• Participate in integration design reviews, release planning, and document QA approaches, integration validation steps, and root cause analysis for bugs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 6-8 years of QA experience with a focus on system, API, or data integration testing
• Proficient with Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or similar tools
• Solid SQL skills for validating data across Snowflake and Reltio
• Strong understanding of API protocols, request/response flows, and error handling
• Experience with QA automation and AI tools where needed
• Familiarity with logs and monitoring tools (Splunk, DataDog)
• Experience with cloud-native integrations (AWS Lambda, SQS, EventBridge) (preferred)
• Familiarity with MuleSoft API flows and monitoring tools (preferred)
• Understanding of token-based authentication (OAuth, SAML) (preferred)
• Agile/Scrum experience with Jira or equivalent tools (preferred)
• Exposure to the Entertainment industry or content supply chain platforms (preferred)
