Drayage Logistics Specialist (Tempe, AZ)

Job Title: Logistics Specialist Job Description Join the Global Mile team within the Cross Border Execution division, supporting the import of goods and freight into the US. You will manage various processes, including processing repair claims, escalating containers on customs holds, and creating reports for other teams. Communication with carriers occurs through an auditing platform, minimizing phone support. Responsibilities + Manage import processes including processing repair claims and escalating containers on customs holds. + Create and communicate reports to other teams within the organization. + Utilize auditing platforms to communicate with carriers efficiently. + Assist in auditing Accessorial Claims with precision and efficiency. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Excel, including experience with SUM, average formulas, pivot tables, and V-lookups. + Stakeholder management and ability to leverage multiple data sources for informed decision-making. + Experience in logistics operations and communication with carriers. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with claims or auditing processes in logistics. + Accuracy and attention to detail. + Adherence to leadership principles such as 'Are Right, a lot' and 'Deliver Results'. Work Environment The team works in person from Tuesday to Friday, with remote work on Monday. This arrangement is subject to change. The work environment fosters collaboration with limited phone support and relies heavily on digital communication platforms. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
