Position Summary
The Senior Compliance Privacy Analyst supports the administration and ongoing effectiveness of Texas Health’s compliance and privacy program. This role partners closely with joint ventures and internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, promote ethical conduct, and foster a proactive culture of compliance, privacy, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
Organization and Oversight (20%)
• Assist in administering the corporate compliance and ethics program, including development, review, and archiving of compliance documentation.
• Support implementation of compliance and privacy initiatives aligned with system and entity work plans.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct compliance and privacy rounding at assigned entities to promote awareness, identify risks, and encourage accountability and inquiry.
Communication and Training (15%)
• Develop and deliver compliance and privacy communication and training materials.
• Assess organizational needs to ensure training and communication are relevant, risk‑based, and aligned with regulatory and policy requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with departments and stakeholders to support timely deployment of compliance initiatives.
Policies, Procedures, and Standards (20%)
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance and privacy policies and procedures in alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
• Support the policy review cycle by incorporating stakeholder feedback and coordinating updates to ensure policies remain current and effective.
Monitoring, Auditing, and Enforcement (20%)
• Design and conduct compliance and privacy audits, assessments, and monitoring activities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and practices accordingly.
• Collaborate with departments to evaluate compliance through testing, auditing, and internal control reviews.
• Identify potential compliance and privacy risks, support timely issue resolution, and assist with reporting and escalation processes.
Analysis and Reporting (15%)
• Perform detailed analytical assessments, including compliance and privacy risk assessments.
• Prepare reports and supporting materials for compliance, privacy, leadership, and board meetings.
• Assist with preparation of routine and ad‑hoc reports for department and entity leadership.
Other Duties (10%)
• Participate in internal and external committees, task forces, and working groups as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• Master’s Degree in Healthcare or a related field (preferred)
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare compliance and privacy experience, including:
• Auditing and monitoring
• Compliance training
• Investigations
Licenses and Certifications
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) – preferred upon hire
• CHC required within 12 months of hire
