As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll collaborate with clients in a considerate, professional, courteous, and expert manner. You'll be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients feel valued and supported.
**What you'll do**
Here are the key responsibilities of the role:
* Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets
* Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations
* Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
* Perform traveler check-in and boarding tasks (excluding curbside), correct oversold seat tasks, and issue upgrades
* Issue vouchers and assist with coordinating traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation; coordinate refuel and refresh
* Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check
* Work gate reader/scanner and related tasks to include pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items and departure line models
* Work jetways/bridges for purposes of boarding and deplaning travelers
* Make boarding and departure gate announcements
* Convey domestic/international flight records
* Perform traveler service flight close-out methods
* Accept, check, and label travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters
* Maintain schedule of flight boarding process
* Perform customer service hands-on training
* Process and complete credit card baggage exchanges at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations
* Assist travelers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage handling at ticket counters
* Man line lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
* Clear/confirm international records at booth in the ticket counter area and activation stations
* Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
* Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors
* Perform customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
* Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any required overtime needs
* Answer and assist during security and emergency situations
* Provide interfacing traveler door information
* Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and according to arenaflex's policies
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance guidelines
* Complete task-related stages of training
* Comply with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA)
* Utilize various internal resources/frameworks including during customer interactions
* Wear uniform as required by company policy

**Depending on your airport size, you may also perform the following:**
* Perform Traveler Activity Control capabilities including air to ground communication along with Peak capabilities
* Help international travelers through customs/migration, including baggage re-check
* Convey tickets, international flight reports, and customs/migration forms
**All you'll need for success**
* Least Capabilities:
+ Education and Earlier Professional training
+ Bilingual language abilities required in certain areas
+ Relevant valid driver's license as required by local authorities
+ Should meet FAA criminal history verifications to qualify for unescorted access awards to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
+ Should be able to obtain proper airport power and US Customs security identifications, if material
+ Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements
+ Should be eligible to work in the U.S.
* Favored Capabilities:
+ Training and Earlier Professional training
+ Working knowledge of Saber or other Traveler Service Framework
+ Past face-to-face Customer service experience
