Job Overview: Data Entry Specialist – Remote

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in reviewing and filing legal documents using our internal systems and online platforms. You will work closely with our e-Fulfillment and e-Filing team to collaborate on projects, resolve issues, and meet common goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and file legal documents using internal systems and email, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Participate in ongoing training to expand knowledge of the industry and our processes, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices
  • Investigate discrepancies as they arise, using problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
  • Complete additional projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on new challenges
  • Collaborate with the e-Fulfillment and e-Filing team to achieve common goals and objectives, contributing to the success of the team and the organization as a whole

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

Essential Qualifications:

  • No experience necessary; data entry experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Tech experience is strongly preferred, with a basic understanding of computer systems and software applications
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or GED required, with a strong foundation in mathematics and language arts
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy, demonstrating attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen eye for spotting errors and discrepancies
  • Desire and ability to be a team player, with a positive and collaborative attitude
  • Experience and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Typing speed of at least 50 to 60 wpm, with accuracy and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in data entry, administration, or a related field, with a strong understanding of legal documents and procedures
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Access and PowerPoint
  • Experience with online platforms and tools, including e-filing systems and document management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
