Key Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Customer Care Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering outstanding service to build loyalty, improve retention, and satisfy corporate best-in-service goals and objectives.
- Responding to a high volume of incoming calls from members and providers, with call lengths varying from 5 minutes to 45 minutes or more.
- Utilizing appropriate resource materials to effectively and accurately interpret, respond to, and resolve customer inquiries and problems.
- Maintaining knowledge of Plan contracts and effectively interpreting information to provide accurate and thorough support.
- Employing strong interpersonal skills to handle difficult calls courteously and professionally.
- Documenting calls in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Working with peers to solve problems and promoting teamwork to achieve common goals.
- Meeting or exceeding departmental quality and productivity goals, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Performing other duties as assigned, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and needs.
Our Ideal Candidates
We're looking for highly skilled and motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. If you're bilingual in Spanish and have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior professional work experience, ideally in customer service, although we're happy to train the right candidate.
- Outstanding customer service skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize a high volume of adjustment requests, multi-task, and prioritize work effectively.
- The ability to make reasonable and sound business decisions based on established standards and guidelines.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
- A comfort level working from home with access to a high-speed internet connection, and regular and reliable attendance.
- The ability to work overtime during peak periods, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and needs.
