Job Title: Senior Computer Vision Consultant Client: IBM Location: Remote, USA Rate: 65/hr Employment Type: C2C, W2, 1099 EXP: 12+ Job Description IBM is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Consultant to lead the design and implementation of advanced AI-driven vision systems for real-time surveillance, safety, and automation use cases. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in computer vision, image processing, and edge AI deployments, working with live camera feeds and multi-sensor platforms to deliver production-grade intelligent vision solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy real-time computer vision pipelines for live camera feeds (CCTV, IP Cameras, RTSP streams). • Implement object detection, tracking, classification, and behavioral analytics using state-of-the-art deep learning models. • Develop and optimize models using OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and related frameworks. • Build scalable edge AI solutions for real-time inference on Jetson devices, edge gateways, and on-prem systems. • Integrate and manage thermal cameras, RGB cameras, LiDAR, and multi-sensor platforms. • Design and implement sensor fusion architectures (RGB + Thermal + LiDAR) to enhance detection accuracy and reliability. • Optimize inference performance, latency, and resource utilization for real-time production workloads. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intelligent vision solutions. • Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI vision systems. Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong experience in Computer Vision and Image Processing. • Hands-on expertise with live camera feeds (CCTV / IP Cameras / RTSP). • Proficiency in OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow, PyTorch. • Deep understanding of object detection, tracking, and behavior analysis. • Experience with edge AI deployments and real-time inference. • Knowledge of multi-sensor fusion architectures. • Experience integrating RGB, Thermal, and LiDAR sensors. • Strong Python programming skills. • Experience with Linux-based systems and on-prem deployments. Preferred Qualifications • Basic understanding of thermal imaging principles and calibration. • Experience working with thermal cameras or multi-sensor surveillance systems. • Exposure to safety, security, industrial automation, or smart city vision use cases.
