Work Schedule: Primarily onsite, with up to 6 days of remote work per month
Department: Banking Americas (COO Office)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Front Office Risk and Controls Associate to join our Investment and Corporate Banking group. This role reports to the VP of Front Office Risk and Controls and is responsible for providing regulatory and compliance guidance, as well as coordinating responses to regulatory exams and internal audits. This is a First Line of Defense (1
LOD) front office role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise business units on regulatory and compliance requirements to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations.
• Assist in responding to information requests and reviews from internal audit, regulators, compliance teams, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare reports for front office senior management and Head Office.
• Conduct monthly data reconciliation and collaborate with technology teams to design and implement controls for new and existing processes.
Skills & Experience:
Required:
• Minimum of 3-5 years
of experience in Front Office, Business Management, Audit, or Regulatory Compliance.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks for investment and corporate banking.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
• Experience in business management, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
