, Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Remote IT Support Specialist with proven experience in Microsoft Teams setup and administration. Duties • Provide comprehensive remote technical support for end-users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity efficiently and professionally • Assist in the setup, configuration, and ongoing management of Microsoft Teams environments to facilitate effective team collaboration • Troubleshoot software problems across operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring minimal downtime • Manage computer hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, maintaining accurate inventory records • Support network administration tasks such as configuring VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, DNS (Domain Name System), LAN (Local Area Network), and TCP/IP protocols to ensure secure connectivity • Utilize tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPO (Group Policy Objects), ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and Help Desk systems for incident tracking and resolution • Conduct analysis of system logs and network performance metrics to identify potential issues before they impact users • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT infrastructure improvements and updates that enhance overall system reliability Skills • Extensive experience providing technical support in a remote environment with strong customer service orientation • Proven ability to troubleshoot software issues across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux • Deep understanding of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN architecture, VPNs, firewalls, and network security protocols like Meraki • Proficiency in managing computer hardware components and peripherals for desktops and mobile devices • Skilled in configuring and supporting Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams • Familiarity with IT infrastructure management tools such as SCCM, GPOs, Active Directory, Windows Server environments, and BMC Remedy or ServiceNow ticketing systems • Strong analysis skills to interpret system logs and diagnose complex technical problems quickly • Excellent communication skills to explain technical solutions clearly to non-technical users • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively within a fast-paced support environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join us if you’re passionate about delivering outstanding IT support remotely!
