We are seeking an innovative and eager-to-learn professional who will play a key role in building data pipelines, designing report visualizations, and creating automated processes. Passion for data, understanding how people comprehend information, and a commitment to stakeholder engagement are key to finding success on this team.
Where is the work:
From Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. On Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires
Responsibilities
• Develop dashboards, analytics, visualizations, and automated tools to enable sophisticated self-service analysis for all Americas Finance stakeholders.
• Drive data uniformity and process improvements within the Americas region to reduce complexities and overlaps.
• Cultivate and promote process improvements to institute reporting standards for deployment across Americas Finance.
• Understand Americas Finance’s needs and strategy and translate into design friendly analytic tools that facilitate storytelling and data exploration.
• Drive innovation within the organization, encouraging the exploration of new technologies that can elevate data capabilities.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting, Finance, Data Science, or Business Analytics.
• Beginner experience in accounting or finance, including hands-on analytics knowledge derived through time in a data visualization role.
• Knowledge of Dataiku or other ETL loading tool (Python, Alteryx, etc) to support dataset development.
• Knowledge of Tableau or equivalent visualization tool (Power BI, SSRS, etc), including ability to build informative and dynamic visuals using parameters and filters.
• Experience with large data sets and strong communication skills – able to convey complex concepts to technical and business teams in a simple and understandable way.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex data projects, balancing strategic vision with day-to-day execution, and effectively managing through change.
• Strong organization and time management skills; able to handle several assignments at one time while working in a matrix organization.
• Solid analytical skills, problem solving, data management, and business partnership skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization to influence decision making & improve business performance.
