Social-First Agency | Minneapolis (Hybrid)
We are seeking a Director of Growth for a social-first agency that’s building something genuinely different in the market. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who loves building growth from the ground up and wants real ownership over how an agency shows up, attracts clients, and scales.
This role leads all agency marketing and growth strategy in partnership with the agency's Chief Growth Officer - from positioning and demand generation to actively identifying, prospecting, and converting net-new clients. There’s no inherited playbook here. You’ll help create it.
What You’ll Do
• Partner with the CGO to lead the agency’s growth strategy end to end
• Lead all agency marketing, positioning, and go-to-market efforts
• Identify, prospect, and pursue net-new clients (this role is not passive)
• Develop repeatable growth systems, pipelines, and partnerships
• Work closely with agency leadership to align growth goals with business strategy
• Track performance, learn fast, and continuously iterate

The ideal candidate:
• Has advertising agency experience or has driven proven growth in an agency-adjacent environment (consulting, creative studio, startup, platform, etc.)
• Is results-driven and comfortable being accountable to growth outcomes
• Enjoys prospecting, relationship-building, and opening doors
• Understands how modern agencies actually win business today
• Is a collaborative team player who leads with momentum, not ego
• Believes social media is a growth engine, not just a channel
The agency is located in Minneapolis, MN and offers a hybrid work environment. This role requires some travel. Compensation will be base plus commission, with the exact structure determined by the candidate’s experience and potential.
