[Remote] Academic Advisor, gt.school (Remote) - $75,000/year USD

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossover is seeking an Academic Advisor for GT Anywhere, a virtual institution for gifted learners. In this role, you will empower 3rd–8th grade students through coaching conversations, leveraging AI tools to monitor progress and facilitate growth. Responsibilities • Conducting biweekly 1:1 virtual coaching conversations with each student, centered on academic planning, motivation, and growth mindset • Hosting open "office hours" sessions where students can join for immediate support, encouragement, or problem-solving • Leveraging AI tools and performance dashboards to monitor student advancement, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching methods • Documenting observations, concerns, and tactical adjustments to keep each student progressing on an accelerated growth path • Working alongside your team to exchange effective practices, elevate issues, and continuously enhance the coaching framework Skills • Master's degree in any field • At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students • Proven high performance in any field—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts • Strong virtual presence and ability to connect with students quickly over Zoom/Google Meet • Comfortable using dashboards and tech tools to track and adjust performance • Ability to maintain at least 80 percent overlap with US business hours • PhD in any field • Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work • Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families Company Overview • Crossover is a global recruitment company, founded in 2014.
