Talent Acquisition Specialist I #1218
ECI is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying creative ways to engage talent to the company while delivering a seamless and exceptional candidate experience along the way. The role will partner closely with business development, operations, hiring managers, and technical interviewing teams to identify and hire talent for our clients in the life science space. The ideal candidate will bring full cycle recruiting expertise, professional services experience and an understanding of the medical device and/or life sciences industries.
What You’ll Do
• Full-Cycle Recruitment: Support end-to-end recruiting processes across a range of functions—including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
• Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies to attract candidates, including passive talent. Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and anticipated hiring needs using creative approaches such as direct outreach, digital platforms, employee referrals, and industry events.
• Manage Interview Processes: Coordinate interview logistics for candidates, ensuring smooth scheduling and communication. Follow up with interviewers to collect timely feedback on interviews, resumes, and candidate fit, and help coordinate next steps in the process.
• Recruiting Operations: Support ongoing reporting needs and ensure data integrity across recruiting metrics. Assist with enhancements to recruiting workflows and tools, including updating interview guides, and refining process documentation.
• Employer Brand: Champion ECI’s brand in the market by supporting employer branding initiatives and storytelling across recruiting channels.
• HR Team Collaboration: Partner with members of the Human Resources team to support broader HR initiatives and projects. Willingly step in to assist with other priorities during periods of shifting hiring needs or lower recruiting activity.
What We Look For
• 3+ years of proven sourcing experience within a professional services environment (understanding of staff augmentation requirements).
• Demonstrated experience with Boolean search skills across a variety of social platforms.
• Proficiency with recruiting technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake and AI tools; experience with UKG ATS preferred.
• Strong familiarity of medical devices/medtech, life sciences and/or healthcare environments.
• Experience working with and building sourcing strategies with hiring managers.
• Experience screening resumes to ensure the ideal match to client requirements.
• Experience approaching and engaging passive candidates with an understanding of technical jargon, and industry trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge).
• Ability to thrive in a small, dynamic team environment that values collaboration, curiosity, and a good sense of humor.
• Solid time-management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities/ open positions simultaneously while maintaining a positive and professional team-focused approach
