**Key Responsibilities**
As a Guest Service Representative / Live Chat Agent, you'll be responsible for:
* Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed, creating a positive first impression that sets the tone for their stay
* Administering check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
* Providing front desk services to guests, including room assignments, administrative duties, and delivering mail and messages
* Processing guest payments, coordinating with bell service and staff management, and being a source of information on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice
* Processing meal and beverage requests, accommodating general and unique requests, and diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests
* Responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner through live chat and other communication channels
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolving any issues that may arise
**Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent
* At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or related industry
* A certificate or diploma in hospitality is advantageous, but not required
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
* Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
