Claims Adjuster, Auto, BI & PD
Job Description:
• Analyze mid- and higher-level general auto claims to determine scope of damages
• Ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within company standards and industry best practices
• Identify subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements
• Manages claims by gathering information to determine exposure
• Approves and processes assigned claims and determines benefits due
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Subject matter expert of appropriate insurance principles and laws for line-of-business handled
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent negotiating skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
