Compensation: No salary & no hourly rate to start. What you do get = equity & profit-sharing through settling on mutually agreeable T&C's/negotiations.

Growth Path: Candidates with tax preparation experience may take on expanded accounting responsibilities, and those with leadership and or executive-level financial experience may grow into a leadership role.

• my19th LLC a holding & management company
• A real-time communication platform for sports venues & fan/spectator engagement (in POC phase).
• An RV repair and mobile service company (currently generating revenue)
As we grow, additional projects, subsidiaries, and initiatives will emerge. We need someone who can grow with us and adapt to our evolving needs.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to lead tax strategy and financial operations for my19th, LLC, and its subsidiary entities.
This is a high-impact role for a startup-minded professional who can move seamlessly between high-level tax planning and oversight of the daily financial foundation.
You will work directly with the founder to ensure our multi-entity structure is tax-optimized, compliant, and ready for growth. We value resourcefulness, cost-consciousness, and the ability to translate complex tax law into smart business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Tax Preparation & Filing: Own the end-to-end tax lifecycle, including preparing and filing federal and state returns for all LLC entities (S-Corps, Partnerships, etc.).
• Strategic Tax Planning: Proactively identify tax-saving opportunities, credits, and deductions to legally minimize liabilities across all subsidiaries.
• Multi-Entity Financial Oversight: Manage the "big picture" for each entity, ensuring clean inter-company transactions and consolidated reporting.
• Compliance & Representation: Maintain active PTIN, manage quarterly estimated payments, and act as the primary representative for the company in any IRS or state tax authority inquiries.
• Accounting Leadership: Oversee the chart of accounts, ensure GAAP compliance, and establish efficient digital record-keeping processes that scale with new projects.
• Advisory: Advise the founder on the tax implications of new business ventures, asset purchases, or changes in entity structure.
Requirements
• Credentials: Active CPA license (required) and valid PTIN.
• Experience: 3–5+ years in public accounting or in-house tax management, specifically working with multi-entity LLCs and startups.
• Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar cloud platforms, plus a mastery of professional tax software.
• Startup Mindset: Ability to work independently in a lean environment and communicate complex financial data in simple, actionable terms.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Up-to-date expertise in current federal and state tax codes for 2026.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with multi-state tax compliance.
• Familiarity with payroll compliance and contractor (1099) management.
Requirements Must Have
• Tax preparation experience - Ability to prepare and file business taxes (federal, state, quarterly estimates)
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk, or similar role
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, chart of accounts)
• Experience with at least one of the following platforms: QuickBooks Online, Xero Accounting, Wave (free accounting software), Google Sheets / Excel for financial tracking, or your no/low-cost recommendation
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Proactive & persistent with recommendations, requests, deliverables, dependencies, etc.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable with remote work and async communication
• Experience managing books for multiple entities simultaneously
• Comfortable holding the founder accountable, while simultaneously owning mistakes/failures
Nice to Have
• Experience working with startups, small businesses, or tech start-ups
• Familiarity with multiple accounting platforms
• Knowledge of Sports & Entertainment, Event Management, and or RV/automotive service industry
• Ability to handle books up to trial balance (Full Charge Bookkeeper level)

Compensation
• This role is currently scoped as part-time or contract work, with hours varying based on business activity. Compensation will be in the form of holding company equity and or profit-sharing, based on agreeable and mutually beneficial T&C's.
• As the portfolio grows, this role has the potential to expand into a more substantial position, from a side-gig to a benefit & salary position or purely contract w/ hourly rates - negotiable as the holding company, and subsidiaries mature.
