SAP IBP OBP (Order Based Planning) / Time Series / Supply Planning – Solutions Lead Location: Remote – California Based Client. 50% Travel to California required. Start Date: ASAP Type: Contract (with potential for extension) Any Visa is fine Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect with deep expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), specifically in Order-Based Planning (OBP), Time Series Planning, and Supply Planning. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end solution design and architecture for planning transformation initiatives and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design and implementation of SAP IBP solutions focused on OBP, Time Series, and Supply Planning. • Define solution architecture, integration points, and data flows across systems (IBP, ECC/S4, APO, etc.). • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand planning processes and translate them into scalable SAP solutions. • Own functional and technical design documents, ensuring alignment with best practices and project goals. • Provide guidance on SAP best practices in supply chain planning, forecasting, and optimization. • Support UAT, training, and deployment activities. • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP innovations, tools, and best practices in the IBP and Supply Chain domain. Required Skills & Experience: • 11+ years of overall experience in SAP Supply Chain modules. • 5+ years of experience with SAP IBP with a strong focus on OBP and Time Series Planning. • Strong understanding of supply planning processes, heuristics, and optimizer functionalities. • Experience integrating IBP with SAP S/4HANA or ECC, and third-party systems. • Knowledge of CPI-DS for data integration between IBP and source systems. • Proven experience in leading workshops, blueprinting, and solution architecture design. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: • SAP IBP certification(s) in Supply Planning or related areas. • Experience with demand planning, inventory optimization, or response planning. • Background in manufacturing, consumer goods, or pharmaceuticals is a plus. • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
