Director of Sales, Specialty - Memphis, Louisville, Kansas City, Arkansas
PURPOSE:
Grow HLSG through successful sales of HLSG specialty products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Identify all specialty revenue channels, internally & externally
• Ability to travel to Memphis, Louisville, Kansas City, Arkansas
• Work with Account Management Team to grow their portfolio
• Work with Acute Sales Team to identify competitive targets
• Prospect heavily inside customer base and prospect base, targeting specialty products & services using Salesforce CRM.
• Follow company prescribed weekly activity metrics
• Make daily entries into Salesforce CRM tracking metrics, notes, and vital sales records
• Manage and update CRM to reflect progress in sales pipeline to meet company expectations
• Follow Week In The Life structure and guidance
• Follow direction of leadership, including specific markets and facility types / points of service
• Work with legal and finance to develop favorable terms, conditions, and pricing of contracts
• Partner with marketing to create robust selling tools and branding for company
• Partner with customer service and operations on the onboarding of new customers
• Represent company at industry trade shows and events
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on microfiber, scrubs, automation, cubical curtains, & all healthcare linen products.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on plant processes, competitive landscape, billing, & contract management
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on infection prevention, linen utilization, and industry standards/ranges.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Coaching: ability to accept professional coaching to improve skillset and implement coaching.

• High level oral communication ability to communicate effectively concisely, strategically, & professionally.
• High level written communication, ability to communicate in writing clearly, concisely, & strategically.

• Conflict Resolution- Ability to deal with others professionally in an antagonistic situation.
• Contract Management – deep understanding of contractual levers and contractual negotiation.
• Mathematics – Ability to analyze, interpret, and comprehend complicated financial statements.
• Undergraduate Degree preferred.
• Must have 5+ years of high level, complex strategic sales & negotiation experience with demonstrated success
• Valid driver’s license
• Must possess computer skills in Excel, Word, CRM, Microsoft Outlook, & PowerPoint.
• Ability to create and deliver an executive level presentation verbally and electronically, using PowerPoint and often to a group audience.
• Weekly activity and prospect interaction requirements, including frequent travel to engage in-person with clients.
