Novel Ghostwriter Needed – Transform Existing Chapters into Cinematic, Bestselling Fiction - Contract to Hire

We are seeking a talented novel ghostwriter to rewrite Chapters 1 and 2 of an existing manuscript into fully immersive, literary novel format. This is not an editing job. We want someone who can take the foundation of the story and elevate it into something visceral, cinematic, and emotionally unforgettable, the kind of writing that feels like a New York Times bestseller and eventually a film adaptation. What We’re Looking For • Deep character development that makes readers fall in love. • Rich, sensory detail that places us inside the world. • Natural, compelling dialogue. • Emotional tension and layered internal experience. • Strong pacing and narrative voice. • Literary but accessible prose. We want readers to feel like they are there, to smell the air, hear the footsteps, feel the ache in the character’s chest. Absolutely no AI-generated writing. This project requires true craft, lived understanding of narrative structure, and human storytelling ability. Setting The story takes place in Oregon, so preference will be given to writers familiar with the Pacific Northwest atmosphere, tone, and landscape. Project Scope • Rewrite Chapters 1 and 2 into full novel format. • Preserve the emotional core and direction of the story while elevating execution. • Deliver clean, polished manuscript-ready work. Compensation • $100 flat rate for rewriting the first two chapters (trial phase). • We will be hiring 5 writers for this initial rewrite. • One writer will be selected to continue the project. This book will be: • 12 chapters • Part of a 4-book series The selected writer will move into a monthly contract agreement to complete the remainder of the book and potentially continue through the series.
