We Are Hiring: Ontario Real Estate Law Clerk/Paralegal Contract | Remote | Per File Compensation Serado exists to make real estate law work better. We support lawyers, firms, and industry partners by handling the work that sits behind successful closings. We are not trying to replace law firms. We are building stronger systems, smarter processes, and calmer files. We are looking for an experienced Ontario Real Estate Law Clerk or Paralegal to join us on a contract basis. This role offers flexible scheduling, remote work, and compensation paid per file. It is ideal for someone who values independence and wants meaningful, steady work without the constraints of a traditional office position. What This Role Really Is This is not a paper pushing position. It is a role for someone who understands the full life of a real estate file and sees the gaps before they become problems. You will manage files independently, communicate directly with lawyers and clients, and help improve how work gets done. You will be part of a small, fast moving team where your experience matters more than titles. If something can be done better, we want you to say it and help build it. Who You Are You have at least five years of hands on Ontario real estate experience from file opening through to final reporting. You are comfortable running files without step by step supervision. You think in systems, not just in tasks. You read the rules yourself instead of waiting for someone to summarize them. You care about clients and understand that communication is as important as documents. You take pride in clean files, clear conditions, and smooth closings. Extra Strengths We Appreciate Time spent creating checklists, training materials, or internal procedures. Confidence working with multiple law firms and different workflows. A natural curiosity about improving legal operations. How This Contract Works Work is assigned on a per file basis with clear scope from the outset. Scheduling is flexible and fully remote. Contractors maintain control over their workflow while meeting agreed service standards and deadlines. Volume can scale up or down based on your availability.
