Lead Paralegal Litigation Manager (Remote)

In this pivotal role, you will oversee a substantial caseload in a dynamic legal environment, ensuring the efficient management of complex litigation cases. This fully remote position provides the flexibility to handle cases across multiple counties, requiring a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational capabilities. As a key player, you will supervise a team, support attorneys directly, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the firm's operations. Accountabilities • Manage a caseload of approximately 100 active litigation cases, ensuring all deadlines are met and documents are properly filed. • Oversee and supervise two staff members, offering training, mentorship, and workflow coordination. • Assist two attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and case management. • Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents. • Maintain consistent client communication and handle case updates efficiently. • Coordinate depositions, mediations, and trial logistics. • Ensure compliance with Illinois state court procedures, particularly in Cook, DuPage, and Will Counties. • Utilize strong technology skills to streamline case management processes and improve operational efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, preferably within personal injury law. • Strong understanding of Illinois civil litigation procedure. • Proven experience managing staff and supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously. • Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills. • Proficiency in legal technology platforms and document management systems.
