Senior Consultant – Physical Security Training, Consulting, Business Development
Job Description:
• Engage with providers as a knowledge resource for security processes and programs
• Manage security programs, including staff management, budgeting, planning, project development, and contract evaluations
• Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and plan actions to increase overall effectiveness and cost reduction opportunities
• Manage RFP and evaluation process for security management contracts
• Maintain and cultivate vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and value adds
• Develop and enhance Security training program and modules
• Review and recommend improvements for vendor contracts, security program KPI's, standard operating procedures, policies, and processes
• Prepare analyses and present recommendations to senior leadership
Requirements:
• Relevant degree preferred
• 5 or more years of relevant experience required
• Experience as a Director of Security and/or law enforcement at multi location healthcare system required
• Ability to read location schematic drawings and specifications required
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills required
• Experience in Workplace Violence training, consulting, analytics, healthcare supply chain procurement
• Board certification in Security Management preferred
• Proficient in use of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
• Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables
