Job Overview and Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Operations and Customer Center (OCC) team as a Customer Care Representative. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our 24/7 operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with aviation experts to utilize data and solve operational business challenges
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop applications and efficiencies that reduce workload for our frontline teams
- Researching and developing strategies to optimize fuel loads, improve aircraft routing, and enhance payload forecasting
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and stakeholders
- Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety, security, and operational excellence
Center Assignments
As a Customer Care Representative, you will be assigned to one of the following teams:
- Load Control Center: responsible for aircraft weight and balance, fuel delivery, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company specifications
- Fuel Strategy: responsible for developing strategies, tools, and sustainability policies for our $14 billion annual fuel consumption
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
- Availability to work for at least three alternating semesters in Atlanta, GA, with a Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM schedule
- Enrollment in an educational institution throughout the term of the co-op program
- Willingness to learn new skills, take calculated risks, and adapt to changing circumstances
- Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively in team and individual settings
- Commitment to safety and security, with a focus on the well-being of self and others
- Embracing diversity, inclusivity, and respect for different perspectives and styles
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge in the selection process:
- Familiarity or experience with SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint
