Job Overview

In this full-time role, you will work 8 hours a day, earning a competitive salary of $25 per hour. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and supporting our pharmacy team in various administrative tasks. Your primary location will be Illinois, USA, and you will have the flexibility to work remotely, utilizing our advanced systems and technology to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model and convey a unique and great client experience, ensuring that customers and patients feel valued and supported.
  • Register sales on designated sales registers, provide clients with considerate, fair, and proficient checkout services, and process transactions accurately.
  • Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication information and process prescriptions.
  • Engage clients and patients by greeting them, offering help with items and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
  • Model and offer client support best practices with all colleagues, including relational habits (e.g., welcoming, eye-to-eye contact, courtesy) and arenaflex service values (e.g., offering assistance proactively, recognizing needs, overhauling until fulfilled).
  • Perform various tasks, such as recommending items for sale, processing voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Keep counters and retirements clean and well-promoted, take inventory, and maintain records, as well as check in and price stock as required or directed by senior management.
  • Report remedy errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to Organization policies and procedures corresponding to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program.
  • Handle calls that don't require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to doctors, and process manual cases for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support and assist the Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Previous work experience with arenaflex or similar companies.
  • Good numerical abilities to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain it through our designated training program.
