About the Role

As a member of the Borrower Success Team at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in helping student loan borrowers navigate the company's tools and enroll in federal forgiveness and repayment programs. With comprehensive training and hands-on experience, you will quickly become an expert in the student loan landscape and serve as the first point of contact for users. This remote, full-time contractor role is available for up to 5 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent hiring in NYC based on performance and company needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding arenaflex's product offerings and how they address borrowers' needs, including the company's algorithm-based recommendations and innovative technology
  • Engaging with borrowers via email and live chat to provide exceptional customer support and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Reviewing and submitting applications for federal loan programs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactively suggesting and implementing ideas and automations that can help scale the team, driving efficiency and growth
  • Bringing user feedback to life with the product, design, and engineering teams to create new features and offerings, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with the Borrower Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals in line with the social mission, promoting a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose

Recommended Experience and Qualifications

arenaflex is seeking teammates with at least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in start-ups, finance (including financial aid or fintech), government programs, or customer support. The ideal candidate will be passionate about applying their talents in a fast-paced startup environment to tackle a major social issue of our time.
