VP / Director – AI Data Center Project Development

About the company We are a publicly listed group with a market cap of around RMB 90 billion, nearly 10,000 employees globally. We're now in the process of setting up a second U.S.-based company dedicated to AIDC EPC (end-to-end) delivery. On the power generation side of data centers alone, we've already secured four projects each exceeding USD 100M, which gives us strong confidence to scale into full EPC delivery. About the Role We are expanding our AI and next-generation data center platform in the Dallas–Fort Worth region and are seeking a highly connected industry leader to drive near-term project origination and strategic customer engagement. This is a senior executive role for a proven rainmaker who understands the DFW data center ecosystem, maintains executive-level relationships, and can convert connections into bankable development opportunities. Key Responsibilities • Originate and lead AI and high-density data center development projects across the DFW region • Convert executive-level relationships into active project opportunities • Engage hyperscalers, AI compute providers, colocation operators, developers, utilities, and infrastructure investors • Lead early-stage project structuring including site strategy, power coordination, utility engagement, and partner alignment • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with developers, EPC contractors, utilities, and capital partners • Lead senior-level commercial negotiations and deal structuring • Build and manage a qualified development pipeline • Drive near-term project wins and revenue generation • Represent the company in executive meetings, industry forums, and strategic discussions Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in data center, digital infrastructure, or energy/infrastructure project development • Strong executive-level network within the DFW data center and power ecosystem • Demonstrated success originating, advancing, or closing large-scale data center or infrastructure projects • Proven ability to independently drive deals from origination through development • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities • Experience managing complex, multi-party development structures • Execution-driven mindset with ability to deliver measurable results Preferred Qualifications • Experience in AI data center or high-density compute projects • Background in power strategy, energy infrastructure, or utility coordination • Experience with fast-track or modular data center delivery models • Utility engagement or behind-the-meter power solution experience • Joint venture (JV) or co-development structuring experience What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months) • Establish a qualified and actionable DFW project pipeline • Activate multiple executive-level customer relationships • Advance AI data center projects into active development • Secure strategic delivery and capital partnerships • Achieve near-term commercial wins What We Offer • Executive-level leadership role with significant growth potential • Opportunity to build and lead a U.S. data center development platform • Competitive compensation package (base salary + performance bonus + long-term incentives) • High degree of autonomy and strategic influence Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $150,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
