Director of Product, AI & Workflow Automation - Clinical Trials
About the position
As the Director of Product, AI & Workflow Automation - Clinical Trials, you'll define and lead Florence's Site Portfolio and products strategy - shaping the vision, roadmap, and execution that drive the digital transformation of clinical trials.
As a member of the COO team, you'll partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer experience to ensure our products don't just meet market needs - they redefine what's possible in clinical research.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution.
Responsibilities
• Define and drive Florence's global product strategy and multi-year roadmap across all customer segments - Sites, Sponsors, and CROs.
• Align product priorities with Florence's mission to automate and simplify clinical trial operations.
• Translate customer insights and market dynamics into strategic direction and tangible product outcomes.
• Build deep relationships with customers, users, and partners to uncover emerging needs and opportunities.
• Identify and anticipate macro-trends in life sciences and technology that will shape the future of clinical operations.
• Champion a customer-centric mindset throughout the organization.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Florence's SaaS platform - from concept to launch to adoption.
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and revenue teams to deliver products that drive engagement, retention, and long-term value.
• Establish and track product metrics and OKRs that guide performance and decision-making.
• Recruit, coach, and scale a world-class product management organization.
• Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and innovation.
• Develop your team's skills and careers through coaching and structured growth opportunities.
• Serve as a strategic thought partner on Florence's executive team.
• Act as a public evangelist - sharing Florence's story, purpose, and vision with customers, partners, and industry audiences.
Requirements
• 10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven success leading SaaS products from concept to market adoption in a high-growth environment.
• Experience operating in or adjacent to regulated industries such as life sciences, healthcare, or fintech.
• Demonstrated ability to scale product organizations globally and manage distributed teams.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills - able to inspire, align, and influence across all levels.
• Track record of defining and delivering strategies that drive growth, adoption, and customer value.
