Role Description
The Virtual Executive Director leads Guidelight Health’s multi-state virtual programming with vision, operational excellence, and a focus on delivering an exceptional client experience. This role ensures high-quality care, compliance with all regulations, and effective business performance across virtual Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP).
The Virtual Executive Director serves as the central driver of program success:
• Overseeing operations
• Guiding staff performance
• Maintaining compliance standards
• Fostering a collaborative, mission-driven team culture
They will work closely with cross-state clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to ensure seamless care delivery, efficient use of resources, and consistent application of the “Guidelight standard” of care.
Qualifications
• Based in MST.
• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Must reside in and be willing to work Pacific Standard Time (PST).
• Must hold an active license (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LPC) in CO with at least 3 years post-independent practice and be willing/able to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical virtual care management or program leadership.
• Proven track record in visionary leadership, strategic planning, and adept team management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with virtual care platforms, EMR/CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills with ability to represent Guidelight to internal and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with cultural competency in leadership.
Requirements
• Experience in a multi-site or multi-state healthcare program leadership.
• Higher level-of-care clinical experience (IOP, PHP, residential, inpatient) preferred.
