Role Description
This role involves leading assigned staff in performing activities or tasks for ensuring corporate compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
• Monitors, advises, and reviews progress of work.
• Reports compliance with policies and/or procedures.
• Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates.
• Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
• Conducts routine monthly audits within the assigned department functions to ensure that information in key systems is accurate and that policies and procedures are being followed.
• Prepares reports on monthly audit performance for review by department and company leadership.
• Provides constructive feedback to managers and staff on the various department teams.
• Assists in designing improvement plans and educates staff to instill a culture of continuous improvement across the department.
• Ensures that errors discovered during audits are communicated and corrected promptly.
• Facilitates collaborative work sessions to discuss quality issues, projects, and programs.
• Assists with data analysis and report creation to support the entire Revenue Cycle.
• Performs barrier and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and identify best practices.
• May provide input for hiring, training, leading, and evaluating staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of experience
• Five years’ experience in a health care or health insurance setting
Requirements
• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Rare climbing.
