Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Customer Experience Banker (Float) to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Experience Banker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our consumers and business customers. You will be responsible for identifying customer financial goals and needs, recommending appropriate banking products and services, and providing personalized solutions to help them achieve their objectives. This is a full-time position that requires travel to multiple branches, so you must have access to reliable transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in proactive sales and customer service activities, including teller transactions, to drive customer growth and retention
- Identify customer financial goals and needs, and recommend appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services to help them achieve their objectives
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and balance daily transactions while providing exemplary customer service
- Effectively resolve customer issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, and provide personalized solutions to meet their unique needs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest banking products and services, and educate customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology, including online, mobile, and ATM banking
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners
- Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory related policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risk
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a High School Diploma or GED, and a minimum of 1 year of customer service or military service experience in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role. Alternatively, you can have a Bachelor's Degree. You must also have a strong comfort level with technology, including mobile services and online banking services, and be proficient in consumer deposit products.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year or more of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales
- Cash handling skills and experience with banking technology, including online and mobile banking services
- 1 year of banking experience, with a strong understanding of banking products and services
