Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative position at arenaflex is designed to provide consultative customer service that consistently meets or exceeds the company's standards of excellence and customer expectations. As a key member of the Virtual Apron Support Team, you will be responsible for creating an effortless customer experience for external and internal customers through phone interactions. Your primary focus will be on handling product inquiries, scheduling and verifying appointments, providing support to store and field partners, and resolving customer conflicts and escalations. By taking ownership of customer issues and utilizing available resources, you will provide complete end-to-end issue resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communication (5%): Respond to email, chat, and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with care and attention to detail.
  • Customer Service (65%): Utilize a uniform script to place outbound calls to customers from leads generated through various marketing sources. Schedule new appointments, confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments by validating customer information and project qualification, ensuring that all customer interactions are personalized and effective.
  • Other (5%): Perform other job duties as assigned by your manager, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • arenaflex Process & Policy (25%): Answer inbound calls from internal and external customers who have been referred through a store associate, internet lead, or other source. Schedule new appointments, confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments by validating customer information and project qualification, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled in accordance with arenaflex's processes and policies.

Management and Reporting

In this role, you will typically report to a Contact Center Supervisor, who will provide guidance, support, and feedback to help you excel in your position. As a Customer Service Representative, you will not have direct reports, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional customer service and developing your skills and expertise.

Travel and Physical Requirements

This role does not require travel, and you will be working remotely. Most of your time will be spent sitting or standing in the same location, with occasional needs to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds). You will be working in a comfortable indoor area, with any unpleasant conditions being infrequent and not objectionable.

Qualifications and Education

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Be legally permitted to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with both internal and external customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

In terms of education, the knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED are required.
