Job Overview

In this critical role, you will provide personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and Administrative Coordinator, promoting a high level of customer satisfaction during patient interactions. You will maintain accurate and timely billing information, process appointments, and perform other duties as assigned. As a key member of our team, you will be subject to overtime and callback as required, and you will be expected to demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, providing direction and leadership in clinic and front office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of licensed personnel and physician, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Provide direction and leadership in clinic and front office operations, coordinating activities through excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for the clinic and front office, providing training as appropriate to implement such changes and revisions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely billing information, process appointments, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Complete assigned goals and objectives, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.

Requirements, Preferences, and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with our organization's values and mission.

Education

  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in English, mathematics, and science.

Experience

  • Preferred: 3 years of experience in oncology or clinical office work, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare operations.

Special Skills

  • Preferred: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Clinical Trial Management Systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
