Our team is made up of talented individuals who share our vision of creating a seamless and enjoyable travel experience for our clients. **The Role** As a Customer Support Specialist on our Melon Online Fulfillment Team, you'll play a critical role in expanding our online service offering and providing exceptional customer experiences to our clients. You'll be responsible for assisting customers primarily through chat, becoming an expert on our product, and helping customers navigate through features, triage general questions/emergency assistance, and escalate complex needs to dedicated day teams. Your goal will be to ensure a seamless experience from start to finish for our customers as we continue to introduce our very own online platform to market. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide first-line technical and travel support for Melon customers by responding to all initial chat conversations within strict SLA * Triaging general questions/needs and identifying situations for escalation to product support and/or a dedicated day travel manager * Ensure a seamless customer experience and in cases of escalation, a warm handover * Provide fantastic listening skills, endless patience, and high empathy to customers * Develop impeccable written communication skills to translate complex issues into simple messages * Focus on delivering an impeccable experience for clients, with a positive attitude and a hunger for knowledge * Maintain high attention to detail and effectively multi-task and work with multiple platforms * Possess decisive and successful problem-solving skills to work under pressure * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive success * Possess geography and international destination knowledge (a plus) **Essential Qualifications** * At least 3 months of experience with arenaflex and Sabre * Proven track record of success and willingness to take on new challenges * Interest in driving the technological advancement of the SME business * Change champion with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving needs of the customer, business, and market * Impeccable written communication skills * Dexterity to translate complex issues into simple messages * Customer-focused and driven to provide an impeccable experience for clients * Positive attitude with a hunger for knowledge * High attention to detail * Ability to effectively multi-task and work with multiple platforms * Decisive and successful problem-solving skills * Ability to work under pressure **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the travel industry * Knowledge of Sabre and other travel technology platforms * Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams * Geography and international destination knowledge **Benefits** * Travel perks/discounts * Health & Wellness Programs and Employee Financial Wellness Services * Generous paid-time off policy * Diversity & Inclusion initiatives * Benefits including vision, medical, and dental * Employee Assistance Program * 401k program with partial match * Employee Share Plan * Ongoing training and professional development **Work Environment** * Remote work environment with flexible scheduling * Opportunity to work with a dynamic and award-winning team * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you!
