Life Skills Curriculum Designer, Alpha Anywhere (Remote) - $100,000/year USD

Your role is not to instruct from a script. It is to architect experiences that prompt adults to ask, "A child accomplished this?" Alpha Anywhere is a virtual program designed to cultivate life skills in students ages 8–14 through live sessions and genuine challenges—not passive lessons and rote exercises. This position was created to transform a founder-operated pilot into a scalable, instructor-led model. You will design the architecture, lead the sessions, and refine the entire cycle. You will launch workshops, develop autonomous challenges, conduct feedback iterations, and create showcases where students display their accomplishments with confidence. This is not a structured, closely-supervised position. You will be entrusted to solve problems independently, elevate standards, and record effective methods so the system can be transferred to others. What You Will Be Doing • Lead dynamic, student-centered sessions where participants drive the conversation and activity while you respond and adjust in the moment • Build standalone challenges with explicit mastery standards and concrete deliverables that students can execute independently without constant individual guidance • Provide rapid, actionable feedback that clarifies next steps and produces quantifiable progress across a cohort • Refine sessions using concrete data (results, session notes, video recordings, participant input) and record updates so the program strengthens continuously • Create presentation events where students share their achievements with families and reveal measurable growth in skill and self-assurance What You Won’t Be Doing • Execute a pre-packaged curriculum or deliver instruction based on lesson plans written by others • Dedicate time to grading, standardized test preparation, or compliance-oriented busywork that satisfies regulatory boxes • Navigate bureaucratic approval processes before testing a concept, launching an experiment, or releasing an updated version • Depend on physical presence to generate engagement; you will establish rapport and drive energy through a screen Life Skills Curriculum Designer Key Responsibilities This position enables Alpha Anywhere to expand an instructor-delivered Life Skills program that reliably generates exceptional student results and sustains significant enrollment expansion without founder involvement in delivery. Basic Requirements • Experience having created and executed at least one complete experience from start to finish (program, game, camp, training, performance, or similar) • Experience engaging directly with students ages 8–14 in any setting • Compelling virtual presence with articulate communication and the capacity to foster connection on camera • Capacity to commit 40 hours/week with 70%+ availability between 8am–8pm CT, Monday–Friday • Dependable internet connection and a professional, consistent environment for virtual facilitation • Proven capacity to create solutions in uncertain conditions, adapt quickly, and maintain rigorous standards even when students encounter difficulty Nice-to-have Requirements • Experience in experiential design disciplines (games, theater, youth programs, coaching, or entrepreneurial environments) • Background developing objective rubrics, model examples, or competency-based evaluation frameworks • Track record of documenting and systematizing processes so colleagues can replicate and enhance your methods About Alpha Anywhere Bring accelerated learning home with personalized academics and life skills. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
