About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting passengers with reservations, inquiries, and various travel-related concerns. As a member of the arenaflex team, you will be part of a crew that is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every passenger has a seamless travel experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing data access and balancing functions
- Coordinating return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
- Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing
- Working on member cases and projects assigned
- Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
- Processing loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks
- Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
- Logging, reporting, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
- Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
- Completing daily balancing and department closing
- Obtaining information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests
- Researching and confirming incoming and outgoing fund transfer information
- Communicating with vendors to process fund transfers
- Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws
- Deposit check returns, researching member bad checks on draft changes, processing member checks, confirming members for outgoing fund transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing fund transfers
- Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Intermediate Excel and Word skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous customer/member service experience
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience
- Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or training and hands-on use of the software
- Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs
- Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as an integral part of a team
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-volume pressure
- Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within the department
- Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
