Job Overview
In this exciting contract-to-hire opportunity, you will play a vital role in our guest relations and customer services team. As a virtual assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our guests, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience across our platforms, including Airbnb, VRBO, and Marriott. Your proficiency in English, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in this role. You will also have the opportunity to work with our operations team, utilizing tools like Guesty, Operto Teams, and AI-powered chatbots to streamline our processes and enhance our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch support to guests, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Screen potential guests, ensuring a smooth and secure booking process
- Leverage AI-powered tools, such as ChatGPT, to craft comprehensive and personalized guest messaging that resonates with our brand and travelers
- Communicate effectively with guests and vendors via phone, using a VoIP system, and respond to guest reviews on various platforms
- Escalate issues to management via Slack, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to our services
- Collaborate with our operations team to report maintenance and damage issues, submit damage claims, and manage in-house maintenance labor
- Assist with business financials and accounting tasks, including the onboarding of accounting systems
- Build and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors, ensuring seamless tertiary market management
Essential Qualifications
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using VoIP systems and comfortable speaking on the phone with guests and vendors
- Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI is a plus, with a deep understanding of leveraging AI for comprehensive guest messaging
- Familiarity with Operto Teams and other property management software
- Ability to work in CST and Eastern United States time zones, with perfect English and grammar
- Availability for part-time shifts, including Thursday and Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm CST, with potential opportunities for overnight shifts

- Previous experience in customer services, hospitality, or a related field
