Job Overview

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, resolving third-party rejects, and responding to patient inquiries in a fast-paced online pharmacy environment. As a key member of our team, you will work under direct supervision to ensure accurate and efficient data entry, while providing exceptional customer service to our patients and prescribers. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry tasks using arenaflex's prescription information access systems and software, including entering patient registration information and processing prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines.
  • Resolve third-party rejects by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
  • Handle correspondence to patients, including inbound calls, chats, and emails, and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed.
  • Provide assistance to pharmacists, both within the facility and at different locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.
  • Troubleshoot missing prescription information, interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve all data entry-related exceptions.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic-level computer skills, including starting up and shutting down a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing applications, moving among programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing information online.
  • Basic Google search skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct area, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online.
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing, formatting files).
  • Ability to speak effectively in writing and verbally.
  • 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 365 days of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • At least 18 months of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration via state as granted by the state board of pharmacy or nationally recognized certification corporation.
  • Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including meeting friendly standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, touch typing, formatting files).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
