Overview
As a Project Manager within the Talent Technology team, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of projects supporting AI, RPA, and automation initiatives across the Talent and HR ecosystem. This role requires strong HR domain experience combined with the ability to manage emerging technology work in a structured, outcomedriven way. You will partner closely with the Emerging Technology team and a broad set of crossfunctional stakeholders to ensure ideas move efficiently from intake through pilot, decision, and scale.
This role is accountable for project management rigor, governance readiness, and clear decisionmaking not solution engineering. Success is defined by disciplined execution, measurable outcomes, and clean transitions to steadystate ownership.
Responsibilities
Strategically partner with internal clients and stakeholders to support medium to complex projects, with a focus on HR-based emerging technologies and AI, RPA, and automation projects.
Develop and execute project plans for Talent initiatives, ensuring HR functional requirements are integrated and addressed.
Facilitate cross-functional teams and stakeholder meetings, providing guidance rooted in your HR systems and process experience.
Identify, assess, and communicate project issues and risks, especially those impacting HR operations and compliance.
Provide ongoing project support, oversight, and process adherence for HR-related projects.
Advocate for the effective and efficient use of internal HR systems, including Workday, LMS and related platforms.
Mentor and guide team members, sharing HR functional knowledge and best practices.
Assist with the intake and governance of the emerging tech and AI request pipeline.
Perform other duties as assigned, with an emphasis on HR technology and process improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor s degree in business, technology, HR, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of project or program management experience, including work across complex, cross functional initiatives.
Demonstrated HR domain experience, such as Talent, HR Operations, HR Technology, HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Performance, and Development.
Experience managing initiatives involving automation, AI, RPA, or emerging technologies, including pilots or proofs of concept.
Proven ability to operate in matrixed organizations and drive execution without direct authority
Strong project management discipline, including planning, dependency management, risk management, and delivery tracking.
Ability to translate ambiguous ideas into structured plans, milestones, and decision points.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive level materials.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Professional judgment in handling confidential, sensitive, or highvisibility initiatives.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, or similar enterprise platforms.
Exposure to AI, automation, or RPA tooling (delivery management perspective; hands on development not required).
PMP or other formal project management certification.
Experience supporting change management and transitions to operational ownership
