Media Analytics (Remote)
Job Summary:
As a member of the data team for Media you will be responsible for analyzing media performance and presenting findings. You love to aggregate complicated data, identify patterns, and get excited about identifying key insights, using them to build actionable future recommendations. You are a team player, problem-solver, and idea generator with some familiarity with media/marketing KPI’s. The position requires a hands-on, get-the-job-done, attitude. It requires the ability to listen, learn and extend learnings to our media agency partners.
Key Qualifications:
• Work closely with our media agency to marry the front end media performance to back end, Apple owned data including site analytics, conversions and sentiment.
• Maintain and further optimize a set of dashboards that provide data-informed insights as it pertains to keywords, audiences, lengths and investment levels.
• Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
• Conduct ad hoc reporting with insightful recommendations
• Create automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
• Partner with our WW data science team to share findings, tests, trends and business insights
• Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into executive recaps
• You will have 10+ yrs of experience in a performance-based analytics role
• You bring a strong working knowledge of analytics and tools like Tableau
Education/Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in economics, marketing, engineering, computer science preferred.
• Preferred 3-5 years of experience working within a Marketing/Advertising team
• You have built reporting for marketing/business data, using a variety of business analytics tools. Tools include, but are not limited to: SQL, Adobe Analytics/Omniture
• Must have SQL skills - responsible for creating complex queries to pull data from various sources
• Ability to design and maintain Python scripts and codes to automate tasks
• Experience with maintaining data feeds and performing ETL
• Must be comfortable creating Tableau Dashboards. Knowledge of Power BI a plus but not required
• Demonstrated use of marketing data science techniques tailored to meet business needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
