Business Development Director - Smart City, West US
Commsignia is a leading software and hardware provider in the emerging Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2X) communications market, on a mission to make roads safer and more efficient through cutting-edge technology.
As a Business Development Director, you’ll play a key role in growing our US presence, especially in the West region and help shape the organization and its processes.
This is a high-impact role with plenty of autonomy, where you’ll be empowered to grow both personally and professionally.

What you’ll be doing:
• Lead business development and account management across the US.
• Build and manage strong client relationships, identify opportunities, and grow our market presence.
• Represent Commsignia at meetings, events, and client visits.
• Provide market insights to help guide product and business strategy.
• Own the full sales cycle from first contact to closing deals and managing contracts.
• Ensure smooth collaboration with internal teams and keep CRM data up to date.
• Travel as needed across the US and occasionally abroad.
What makes you a great fit:
• 5+ years in business development, sales, or account management.
• Experience working with public sector clients such as fire departments, EMS, police, or other government agencies.
• Familiarity with infrastructure or mobility-related projects.
• Background in ITS, Infrastructure, IT, or Telecom sectors.
• Degree in Business, Engineering, or Tech.
• Fluent in business & technical English.
• Skilled in complex B2B sales and proposal writing.
• Strong communicator, proactive, organized, and a true team player.
• Based in the US with strong local market knowledge and willing to travel.
Not required, but awesome:
• Familiarity with C-ITS, V2X, C-V2X, or 5G technologies.
