Role Overview
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified professionals to join as Certified Capital Markets Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Capital Markets Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.
Once approved, Capital Markets Analysts:
• Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
• Gain access to real capital markets deal flow and paid analytical work
• Support investors, fund managers, and operators on live transactions
• Build a verified transaction history and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Capital Markets Analyst · Lead Capital Markets Analyst · Capital Markets Analyst / Associate
Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges
Senior Capital Markets Analyst
• Rating Score: 90–100
• Pay: $150–200/hour
• Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, structured finance, capital advisory, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of transaction experience
Lead Capital Markets Analyst
• Rating Score: 80–89
• Pay: $100–150/hour
• Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in capital markets, deal execution, or advanced financial modeling
Capital Markets Analyst / Associate
• Rating Score: 60–79
• Pay: $50–100/hour
• Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical and analytical capabilities
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Depending on certification approvals, Capital Markets Analysts may support the following activities:
Capital Markets & Transaction Analysis
• Capital structure analysis
• Equity and debt financing support
• Investor presentation and pitch material support
• Transaction structuring analysis
• Market and pricing analysis
Financial Modeling & Valuation
• 3-statement financial models
• DCF, LBO, and project finance models
• Commercial real estate underwriting
• Sensitivity and scenario analysis
• Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
• Football field valuation summaries
Due Diligence & Deal Support
• Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
• Commercial and operational diligence
• Risk assessment and downside analysis
• Investment committee and offering memo support
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are explicitly approved for.
Approvals are earned through assessment and demonstrated performance—not tenure.
How Analysts Start Earning
• Complete the Capital Markets Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
• Receive category-specific approvals (Capital Markets, Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)
• Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform
• Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live deal work
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors within the ecosystem.
Certification & Eligibility
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
• Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
• Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each Capital Markets Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
• Platform visibility
• Approved work categories
• Recommended hourly compensation
Compensation & Deal Economics
• Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
• Hourly rates are determined by Rating Score and approval level
• Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
• Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
• Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
• Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity
